Moreover, collaborative gameplay emerges as a favored pastime, with 79% of veterans engaging in multiplayer experiences weekly—higher than the 67% rate among non-veterans. Among the surveyed group, Army veterans hold a predominant presence, constituting 49% of respondents despite representing only 35% of active-duty personnel in 2023. Additionally, 66% of veteran gamers view gaming as a crucial means to maintain connections with fellow service members.
