The Legend of Zelda Orchestral Tour Announced for 40th Anniversary

Numerous live orchestral performances and special events are dedicated to beloved franchises such as Final Fantasy, Sonic, Persona, and World of Warcraft, offering fans a unique cultural experience. This celebratory tour is scheduled to captivate audiences across North America, Europe, and Australia throughout 2027. Tickets for many venues will become available on September 30th at 12 p.m. local time, with specific sale dates for cities like Boston, Houston, and Seattle to be announced later. According to the official concert tour website, additional performances are currently being planned for France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, with more details and cities to be revealed in due course.

The tour will commence in North America on February 22nd in Chicago, followed by its European debut on April 3rd in London, and finally reaching Australia on May 13th in Melbourne. Attendees can look forward to a diverse repertoire spanning the series' history, from the original 1986 release of The Legend of Zelda to contemporary favorites like 2023's Tears of the Kingdom. While official pricing details are yet to be fully disclosed and are expected to vary by venue, tickets for the Japan leg of the tour, which begins on January 23rd, are estimated to range from approximately $76 to $114.

It is widely anticipated that these concerts will highlight the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake, set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5th. This remake will feature fully orchestrated renditions of Koji Kondo's original compositions. While it is unlikely that fans will be permitted to bring their own electric ocarinas to participate, the timing of most concert dates several months after the game's release will provide ample opportunity for players to immerse themselves in the new arrangements.
