Unlocking Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Complete Guide
Fulfill Your Disney Dreams: Bring Cinderella to Your Valley!
Embarking on Cinderella's Quest: The Initial Steps and Preparations
Many players have eagerly anticipated Cinderella's arrival in Disney Dreamlight Valley since its inception, and with the latest Winter Ball update, that wish has finally come true. The method for bringing her into your character roster is notably less complicated than previous character recruitment challenges. To begin the journey of welcoming Cinderella, you first need to ensure access to the Forgotten Lands and have already established contact with the Fairy Godmother. These prerequisites set the stage for a magical adventure in your valley.
The "Pumpkin and the Princess" Quest: A Step-by-Step Walkthrough
The quest to welcome Cinderella commences with a special letter from the Fairy Godmother, found in your in-game mailbox, which alerts you to a missing glass slipper in the Plaza. Upon locating this crucial item, which typically appears near the pathway to the Peaceful Meadow, you must present it to the Fairy Godmother within her residence to initiate dialogue. Interacting with her outside will not advance the quest, emphasizing the importance of meeting her in her home. She will then reveal that the slipper belongs to Cinderella, who has mysteriously vanished. However, the Fairy Godmother holds a piece of Cinderella's essence within a pumpkin, which serves as the key to her return.
Crafting the Wish Enchantment and Cultivating the Enchanted Pumpkin
To awaken Cinderella's essence, the Fairy Godmother instructs you to collect specific ingredients from the Forgotten Lands: five units of Ginger, one Orange Nasturtium, five Gooseberries, and one Diamond. These items are essential for crafting a Wish Enchantment. Once forged at a crafting station, this enchantment is to be combined with your watering can. Returning to the Fairy Godmother with the enchantment will lead her to entrust you with Cinderella's small spell pumpkin. This pumpkin must be planted and watered like any other crop within the valley, rather than placed as furniture. After approximately fifteen minutes of attentive watering, the pumpkin will mature.
Retrieving the Missing Pumpkin and Decorating the Plaza
Following the growth period, you'll observe large green vines, but the pumpkin itself will be missing. Consulting with the Fairy Godmother reveals her suspicion that Remy may have absconded with it. A visit to Remy's restaurant will confirm this, as the Spell Pumpkin will be prominently displayed near the counter. Upon its return, the Fairy Godmother will then ask you to plan Cinderella's new home and adorn the Plaza with elegant furnishings. After placing the house plans, a payment of 15,000 Star Coins to Scrooge McDuck is required to construct the dwelling. However, Cinderella's immediate appearance is not guaranteed at this stage.
The Grand Welcome: Final Steps to Cinderella's Arrival
The final phase involves placing eight pieces of "elegant" furniture, alongside the Spell Pumpkin, around the wishing well in the Plaza. Your in-game furniture inventory will conveniently highlight items that fit the "elegant" description with a Fairy Godmother icon. Arrange these pieces as close to the wishing well as possible, noting that placement directly on the stone well is not permitted. Once the elegant furniture and the Spell Pumpkin are set, interacting with the pumpkin will trigger Cinderella's grand entrance. Conclude the "Pumpkin and the Princess" quest by speaking with both Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother, solidifying their reunion and welcoming a cherished new resident to your Disney Dreamlight Valley.
