Pokémon Go December 2025 Community Day: Comprehensive Event Guide
Unleash Your Inner Trainer: Master the December Community Day!
Explore the Featured Pokémon: Saturday's Spotlight on December 6th
On Saturday, December 6th, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, trainers will encounter an increased number of particular Pokémon. This segment of the event is an excellent opportunity to capture and evolve these specific species. The highlighted Pokémon for Saturday's event include Karrablast, Shelmet, Vanillite, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Pawmi, each offering a chance for shiny encounters and special moves upon evolution.
Sunday's Special Appearances: Boosted Spawns on December 7th
The excitement continues on Sunday, December 7th, also from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, with a new set of Pokémon experiencing boosted spawn rates. This gives trainers another chance to expand their collections and obtain rare variants. The Pokémon featuring on Sunday's schedule are Solosis, Flabébé (with regional color variations to consider), Pikipek, Jangmo-o, Rookidee, and Quaxly, each ready to be discovered in the wild.
Reliving the Classics: Community Day Classic Pokémon Throughout the Weekend
In addition to the daily featured Pokémon, the December Community Day also brings back beloved Community Day Classic Pokémon. During the last ten minutes of each hour from 2 PM to 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, trainers will find these classic Pokémon appearing more frequently. This rotation includes fan favorites such as Machop, Eevee, Totodile, and Ralts, allowing players to catch up on any missed opportunities from previous years.
Acquire Powerful Abilities: Exclusive Moves for Evolved Pokémon
A key highlight of this Community Day event is the availability of exclusive "legacy moves" for a wide array of Pokémon. By evolving the featured Pokémon between December 6th at 9 AM and December 7th at 9 PM, trainers can unlock powerful and rare attacks that are typically unavailable. This includes popular evolutions like Machamp with Payback, various Eeveelutions with unique moves such as Scald for Vaporeon and Psychic for Umbreon, and many others, significantly boosting their combat effectiveness.
Maximize Your Gains: December Community Day Event Bonuses
To enhance the overall experience, several in-game bonuses will be active throughout the Community Day event. These perks are designed to help trainers progress faster and more efficiently. Bonuses include double Stardust and XP for catching Pokémon, half hatch distance for eggs, double candy for catches, and an increased chance for level 31+ trainers to receive XL candy. Additionally, Incense and Lure Modules will last longer, special photobombs will occur, and trade bonuses like an extra special trade and halved Stardust costs will be available, running slightly longer until December 7th at 9 PM.
Simplified Evolution: Reduced Requirements for Select Pokémon
The event also introduces reduced evolution requirements for specific Pokémon, making it easier to obtain their evolved forms. For example, evolving Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon will only require exploring 1 km as your buddy (down from 10 km), and evolving Eevee into Sylveon will need only seven hearts (down from 70). Similar reductions apply to Floette and Pawmo, streamlining the evolution process and allowing trainers to complete their collections with greater ease.
