10/28/2025

The Nintendo Music application, available to Switch Online members on mobile devices, has recently expanded its offerings with the inclusion of another Super Mario-themed soundtrack. This latest update features the complete audio collection from the Nintendo DS era's iconic platformer, New Super Mario Bros.

Originally launched in 2006, New Super Mario Bros. brings a nostalgic audio experience with this new addition. The update comprises a total of 60 tracks, providing approximately 80 minutes of musical content. To access this expanded library, users must have an active Switch Online membership and the Nintendo Music app installed on either an Android or iOS device. Other DS game soundtracks previously integrated into the service include popular titles like Nintendogs and Tomodachi Collection.

Beyond these consistent weekly updates to the music app, Nintendo is also committed to enriching its digital archives of classic games. Later this week, on October 30, 2025, the original Luigi's Mansion, a beloved GameCube title, is set to join the Nintendo Classics library. Its soundtrack was also integrated into the Nintendo Music service earlier this year, highlighting Nintendo's dedication to preserving and sharing its rich gaming heritage across various platforms.

Nintendo's ongoing commitment to expanding its digital music and classic game libraries demonstrates a profound respect for its storied past while continuously offering added value to its loyal community. By making these cherished soundtracks and games accessible, Nintendo not only celebrates its legacy but also allows new generations to experience the magic and creativity that have defined its journey, fostering a deeper connection and appreciation for its contributions to the gaming world.
