From additional vehicles and innovative automated driving features to expanded customization options in Photo Mode and numerous quality-of-life improvements, the update signifies a continued commitment to refining the game's experience on the platform. This comprehensive overhaul is set to provide a more polished and immersive gameplay environment for fans.

The eagerly anticipated patch for Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is set to deliver four new vehicles, each potentially linked to fresh side missions, adding layers to the game's narrative and exploration. Among these are the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, the Rayfield Caliburn \"Mordred,\" the Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa, and the Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila. These additions are designed to integrate seamlessly into the existing game world, with specific unlock criteria tied to in-game progress and existing quests. Furthermore, the update introduces groundbreaking AutoDrive and Cinematic Camera functionalities, allowing players to traverse Night City autonomously and enjoy cinematic views during their travels. The introduction of self-driving Delamain cabs also provides a convenient new fast-travel option, accessible after a specific in-game quest.

Beyond new modes of transport, the update extends its reach to visual customization and accessibility. Rayfield's CrystalCoat™ technology, previously exclusive, is now available for a broader range of vehicles, including motorcycles, with a "cracked" version also accessible for lower-end models. This expands aesthetic choices significantly. The Photo Mode receives a major boost with 27 new NPCs, alternative outfits, and the ability to switch between V's saved wardrobe outfits. Enhanced lighting, Depth of Field adjustments, and a new Color Balance tab offer greater creative control for capturing memorable moments. Accessibility improvements include automatic detection of inverted mouse settings and an option to toggle aiming down sights, catering to diverse player preferences. Various gameplay fixes, such as addressing weapon firing rates and item drops, along with miscellaneous adjustments like improved HDR settings and audio balancing, ensure a more stable and enjoyable experience. While the update is scheduled for other platforms on July 17, 2025, the exact release date for the Switch 2 version is yet to be announced.

This forthcoming update builds on the game's already strong foundation on the Switch 2, where it has received high praise for its technical achievements and immersive open world. The continuous stream of new features and refinements demonstrates an ongoing dedication to the player community and the long-term vision for Cyberpunk 2077, enhancing both its replayability and overall engagement.
