Young British actors, Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, have been selected to embody Princess Zelda and Link, respectively. This announcement, coming directly from franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto, confirms the youthful essence intended for these roles.

Shigeru Miyamoto, the visionary behind 'The Legend of Zelda', shared his excitement through Nintendo's official social media channels, expressing eagerness to witness Bragason and Ainsworth's performances. While initial promotional images depicted the actors in what appeared to be period-appropriate attire, it remains unconfirmed if these were their official character costumes. Notably, Ainsworth's darker hair has sparked discussion among fans, as Link has historically been depicted with blond hair.

Bo Bragason, aged 21, is known for her recent work in the Disney Plus series 'Renegade Nell'. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, 16, has a background in notable productions such as Mike Flanagan's 'The Haunting of Bly Manor' on Netflix and lent his voice to Robert Zemeckis' 'Pinocchio' remake. He also appeared in 'The Sandman' episode titled “Sleep of the Just.”
